WE'RE GONNA PARTY LIKE ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY
Well, its official...my little dancin' pants is 2 years old!
We said "goodbye" to measuring her age in months and "hello" to being a toddler. When Ryan and I were planning her party, we never realized how much fun it would be. We rented a bounce house, sent out invites, bought her presents, and planned for a bbq.
What we got was: an insane amount of children stuffed into said bounce house (i was seriously thinking we should have rented 2), 10 kazoos that, when placed in the hands of the children, sounded like a bazillion kazoos - still not sure that was the best purchase :), an awesome turn out of neighbors, friends, work buddies, and family, a buffet of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, sides, and drinks. (and yes, we should have splurged and bought "just one more set of plates and cups"--at the time, we figured one set would be plenty...we were wrong) AND the best part of all: ONE AWESOME PARTY!
I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. My dad happened to be in town and was able to make it out to the party and took some amazing pictures, as did our good friends the Chatelains. Thanks to them, I have pictures to post. And thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate Raegan's 2nd birthday! We have truly been blessed with amazing friends, family, and neighbors!
I still can't believe we have a 2 year old. I can totally understand now, why my parents always said, "i wish you didn't have to grow up." She has brought so much joy into our lives and for that we are so greatful.
